This one is dear to me. My Mom and I pulled over by this pond to take in this incredible sunset. We sat there just enjoying the "awesomeness" of the moment. I memorized it as I sat there looking at it and created it in pastel as soon as I got home. My Mother was my best friend. Four years ago she went to God to a place I'm sure far more beautiful than this sky. I miss her daily. Isn't it nice how an artwork can capture such a moment in your life? Hope you enjoy it.
About Judy Via-Wolff
I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
