Description
This gorgeous beauty is feral but not by choice! A very old man who lived across from my elderly Aunt passed away. He had about 3 cats he took care of that were indoor and out door cats. His house was left to some relatives who are young and "threw" the cats out. They have been outside now for about 4 years and neighbors here and there put some food out. They do not go into any houses. This one I see every time I go there in one hiding place or another and although she ran the second after I took this; I was able to capture her beauty. They are not people friendly anymore which is quite sad. If I lived there I would work on getting this one to come in!

What a beautiful cat! When I think of the MILLIONS of abandoned pets, I'm ashamed for the human species, and there are even worse things humans do. vf.

Yes, a beautiful cat indeed. Love the shot, hate the story, which is all too true across the world. v/f

Ferrell is so beautiful, Judy and it's so sad that he has not anymore a house and a master... who knows, maybe someone will adopt him one day... I really hope so! F&V
Judy Via-Wolff replied:
Thanks Mona, I hope so too but it seems like he's accepted his lot in life...

He reminds me of my old friend Mini Bob, who I have not seen since January. Mini Bob is always welcome to come by and eat. This cat should throw the humans out of her house.

Thanks Bob, I was so happy I spotted her and could get this one and only shot!

what a sad tale, he is very beautiful and looks like he takes pretty good care of himself....
Judy Via-Wolff replied:
Thanks Sharon, I think all the long fur is the winter coat, however this cat family has suffered from the elements.
