Description

This is my "end of summer" celebration photo. Soon will come the days when I can no longer bring flowers into my many handblown vases that I made for many years. I do love flowers and the whole process of waiting for them and watching them come into being. I have always thought two great inventions were photography and cell phones. The former for the obvious reason of capturing the moment and being able to enjoy it even when it is not the " season for flowers". The latter because I like to know that I can connect to someone in an emergency even if I am deep in the woods hiking and taking photos.

I was looking for color and balance and contrast in this photo. I think I may try to paint this one.
