Description
My ancestry is all Italian. Therefore my love for Italy and all things Italian. My Mother's maternal side of the family are from Caltanissetta, Italy. I have an Aunt who is 93 and has asked me to do a painting for her guest room. I have been going through my wonderful and vast pictures of Italy, both mine and borrowed and I chose this because it is in Caltinassetta, Sicily. I am painting several and will decide which best suits her. At 93 she is strong and feisty and her cooking is authentic. I've decided it is time to bring myself back to Italy and Sicily via my painting until I get there again. Hopefully this will be the first of many. This is a passageway between a large home and the street.
