Artist's Description

This a little jewel of a raindrop reflecting flowers outside. What I love about this is that when I used to do glassblowing I made "murrinies" that looked like this. They are colorful glass pieces that you pull into long shapes when hot. then you cut them and they make these wonderful colorful pieces that you use in your hot glassworks, If you are familiar with the old murrini paperweights you will know what I mean. At any rate this is the second in my abstract Whats in Raindrop series. (More to come)

About Judy Via-Wolff

Judy Via-Wolff

I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
