This adorable squirrel fights for survival in the record breaking deep snow and cold temperatures this year. He is in a 4 foot high snow bank foraging for food near my feeder. This February broke all records this 2015 winter for the coldest February on record and the coldest Month ever on record here in Rochester NY. It also broke records for snowfall. the deer and the wildlife are literally walking right up to peoples doors hoping to find some food. A rough year for squirrels but the determination of this little darling keeps me from complaining about the elements. I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
