Description
I was soaked through to the skin when I took this photo. We slogged through a forest in heavy rain with our dog for about 2 miles because I was certain if I could get through that forest to this particular pond I would be able to get this view of Whiteface. The clouds were rolling over so fast and I was lucky to get this with both peaks showing before being lost in the cloudy fog. Fortunately it was quite warm out so the fact that we were drenched including my dog really didn't feel so bad! After this we hit another hike to get another view of this mountain from deep inside the woods off any main roads. Will post that one also.
