This painting is of a favorite place of mine named Buck Pond. It is a fascinating, ever changing landscape. The light, seasons, time of day, all reflecting the waters of Lake Ontario in upstate New York. this is done in my new technique requiring multiple layers and glazes. This particular painting is music to my soul as it takes me to place of serenity...Thank you for visiting my gallery. I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
