Description
This Robin and his glowing red breast, eats and sings among the crabapples. The snow piles in tufts around him on the branches and the blue sky sets off the ruby red of the fruit and the Robin. These crabapples are about the only food accessible as the ground is deep with snow and food sources are buried. Especially worms. This tree is a haven for hungry birds and squirrels. While the snow piles up on the branches and apples, it can not completely cover them. The wind plays a big role in making the snow drop quickly. The blazing ruby apples glow against the sky inviting wildlife to it's food and shelter. A real tree of life for these birds and squirrels.

This image really pops with the bright colors set against the clear blue background. The little hint of snow tells the story that it is the winter season. L

Beautiful capture, Judy! This image would be a great addition to either the Winter Wonderland Group or the Glimpses of Autumn Group. V.
