Description
I call this contemplation because we all need a quiet place, where nature reigns and is the only sound we hear. This painting is the result of the fact that I hate waste. My adult students often mix too much color and want to wash it all down the drain at the end of class. On this day I scraped any paint that was excess onto a tray and when everyone left I used it up to paint this. In my mind I felt the need for this place; and so I created it... Perhaps it is "Sharon's Heron" once again moved off to another rock to contemplate his next direction. At any rate it is one of my fast and furious paint applications that make me feel so free. It is the opposite of egg tempera painting which is slow and tedious. This is just meant to be bold and fast and windblown I think! This original is for sale for anyone who wants to hear only the waves and the wind...Also available in print...

Judy, This looks like paradise to me too. I enjoyed reading your description. It is interesting to know the difference between painting with different media (or is is mediums?) In any case, you are so VERY talented. I hope you have continued success. F/V
