Description
This juvenile Yellow Crowned Night Heron bird is quite large and is literally hanging out to dry! I watched him for quite some time. It was like he was doing yoga or something. He (or she) is hanging in the mangroves just above the water deep inside this Island. It is always a tricky situation to get the canoe exactly where you need it to be and ever so quietly so as not to intrude on this paradise...Thank you ever so much to FAA artist: Tessa Fairey who finally identified this bird for me! Please view her beautiful work!!!
