Oh, splendid painting, Judy. The reflections on the water are simply marvelously painted and your brush strokes on the foliage of the trees is so spontaneous. Gorgeous work. F,v. _____ Ana

Thank you for the comments. This is the one of the most magical places on earth, (this park). Around every corner is magical vista. Durand Eastman Park borders Lake Ontario. I guess we have to thank George Eastman for giving this land as a forever wilderness to the public to enjoy along with his extensive photographic contributions to the world.

Judy, thanks so much for your kind comments on my Old House painting. Now, I have spent more time looking at your paintings and they all have something in common, including the Blue Heron, which you know I love. They remind me of something my mother says about Monet. "You know, Elizabeth, when you look at his paintings close-up, they don't come together but it's only when you pull back and look at the whole that they make the statement and come together in beauty". She is correct. I look at your paintings and think, that is absolutely gorgeous and then I look at it closely and think is this the same painting? It's still beautiful but it's truly almost magical and I believe a gift. Congratulations. Your work is a wonder.
