Thank you Bruce, One of my favorites and also a favorite flower in my garden. They are giant blooms the size of dinner plates sometimes. However they do not have a very distinctive odor. This one is still opening, I should post another to show the flower fully open.

Christine, this is the one Hibiscus that will grow in the north and come back every year. This flower is in the process of opening. When these are fully opened they are the size of dinner plates. Come in various colors. this pink and white is my favorite and grow in my yard!

About Judy Via-Wolff

Judy Via-Wolff

I have a great love for nature and all God's creation. In any artworks or photos I create, I try to reflect a moment of fleeting beauty as all things are but for an instant. I love to paint and use pastels. I paint in oils, acylics, and water colors depending on the piece. I also pursue the medieval technique of egg tempera painting.I also have begun digital painting which I create from scratch with a stylus. Photography also provides an instant in time. Judy has a BFA and a Masters Degree From RIT"S School for American Craftsman and Fine art. She spent many years as a glass artist and was able to reflect the light and colors of God's creation through this medium. She won many awards over the years and enjoyed creating new works...
