Thanks Valerie, This is a series, I feel they wait for us in heaven once they are gone...Precious little companions, both dogs and cats that God provided for us along the way, they give us comfort and unconditional love in exchange for our love and care. I think perhaps the garden of Eden was like that!

This painting reminds me of my Dany, she also likes to be for herself and ponder over the world. Your cat on the painting looks very aware of himself and his solitude is self chosen.

Thanks Sharon, My cat Cameo who is the Maine Coon is the same color as Peaches was who had long hair but not a Maine coon. They look very similar. Most of these were of Peaches or Banjo or Feather (previous cats) however My current 3 are photogenic and waiting to be painted!
