Description
In this one the snowflake looks a Queen Anne's Lace flower, I have darkened the background in order to show better contrast in the delicacy of design in a simple snowflake. I hope you enjoy this series as much as I have enjoyed making it! Once in a great while when the sun shines bright and the snow is a certain texture it will look as if everything is glowing in diamonds. It looks like stars are all over the ground and snowy surfaces. It is quite magical to see. These are the result of experimenting with my super macro lens upon these glowing glints. I was amazed as I processed to see the results that the naked eye cannot see. Each and every snowflake is six pointed and different from one another.
Some look like glowing stars that fell from space, flat and solid. Most though are intricately detailed mathematic perfections of crystal stars.
