Description
This is Banjo. One of my three, from my former cat family. He was a very large tiger cat and had a contemplitive and protective personality. He was my husband's soulmate kitty and of course a rescue. He would always watch the neighborhood and ferociously protect his much smaller brother Peaches. He too like Peaches rests in God's eternal light... This is another from my series of cats that I painted during my glass studio days. Besides painting cats in archways I also painted monks and holy men and sometimes together. These were a kind of a 40 days in the desert to pray series, meant to give the feeling of leaving the world behind in order to find quiet and hear God...
